Three of my favorite things: repeat clients, remodels and Airbnb’s. To say I love these clients is a huge understatement. Really, they’ve become like second parents to me, and I enjoy spending time with them.
A few years ago, we built their new “dream” home after they’d lived in a built on, million times remodeled double wide for their entire marriage. Once the new house was built and they had fully moved in, the question of what to do with the “old” house came about. It started as a double wide 40+ years ago, but over time they had added on, remodeled the inside and had completely redone the outside. It seemed like a shame to just tear it down and let the weeds grow, so we buckled down, made a plan, created a budget and turned it into a fully remodeled 5 bedroom, 3 bath (with a brand new one we just added), 2 laundry rooms (one for guests and one strictly for turnovers after Airbnb stays.
When we started this project, the husband was highly against it, but let us go about our plan– now that we are finished, he’s trying to take credit, what a compliment! As for the wife, she wants to abandon her new home and move back in. Big thanks to Jason of Mountain View Renovations for making our dreams a reality!
