Vacation Home Loft Blow Out

One of the main requests I get from my Vacation Homeowners is additional sleeping space AND added bathroom. Usually, they need this because they have children living at home and/or friends/family that visit often – but what happens when the kids don’t live at home anymore?

Well, of course they still want to hang out on the lake 🏊- but now they are married and sometimes there are grandkids too!    Creating spaces for growing and changing families is a challenge and differs for each family – but here we took a small bunk room that had 3 twin beds and created a space with 2 king and 2 queen beds with a bit of privacy for each bed so everyone can share the bunk room.  🛏️

There was a bit of a challenge with this one as it ended up being shorter than the other Peter boroughs I have blown out. So, we had to get creative mid project on our bed layout, but it all worked!  The bathroom in this one is small, but mighty, and the tile in the shower is to die for! 😍

In addition, this cottage got new kitchen countertops, backsplash and a paint job throughout.  Can’t give Keith and his crew at Ridgeline Construction enough credit for this fabulous project! 🛠️
